Circuit Court – Update Notice : Section 21 (Appointment of Care Representatives in case of a person not having full capacity), Nursing Support Scheme Act, 2009

The commencement of the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act, 2015 has been delayed and this means that the amendment to Section 21 (Appointment of Care Representatives in case of a person not having full capacity), Nursing Support Scheme Act, 2009 is also delayed.  As a result of this, the current procedure for making Care Representative applications to County Registrar Courts will continue until further notice.
